FMI Report III is software to collect and store moisture data of Brookhuis inline moisture meters. The software automatic generates batch wise reports and can store the moisture data of single boards to a linked SQL database. The software enables the possibility to optimize the production process, reduce costs and improve quality. FMI Report III gives you control over the entire process of wood moisture.

Easy in use

FMI Report III is easy in use, no extra handlings are requested from the operator or staff. A new batch is automatic started by selecting a new product in the FMI or after reset the FMI counter, this means no additional handling an no batch can be missed. A batch is automatically closed when a new batch is started. Smart start, smart end!

In case ar barcode scanner is used,  a new batch is started after entering a new barcode.

Barcode

FMI Report III can work with barcode readers. Barcodes per batch as well per wood pack. Using a barcode for individual wood packs gives an optimal traceability for optimizing processes. During the production all the collected moister data is linked to the barcode. After a barcode is scanned or entered by a keyboard a new batch is started automatically.

Reports

FMI Report III can generate automatically a number of statistically reports in several languages. The reports are stored into a specified map and can easily be identified by their product name, production date and time.
Each type of report can be switched on or off, once set everything goes automatic

Automatically generating reports, by every product change or reset of the FMI counter. No extra effort of the operator is necessary.
For every sorting level a different report can automatic generated, for the basic FMI the individual reports are:

• ALL boards
• Only the OK boards
• Only too WET boards
• Only too DRY boards

For FMI’s with multiple level sorting, additional reports are generated.

• Reports are available in several languages.
• The reports are stored in a specified map, a local map or network map.
• Enabling the auto print function send reports automatically to a specified printer driver.

Database

Database storage offering the best possibilities for optimizing processes, with a virtually unlimited number of comparisons that can be made between the data. A question like, “what are the difference between suppliers; dry kilns; batches; times of the year; grow areas; etc. can be finally easily answered in an objective way.

FMI Report III software comes with a complete update for your inline moisture meter. The console as well as the sensors will be updated to the latest standard available. Especially for older (FMI-3) systems it is a very attractive offer,  because this update is free of charge!

Flexible system

FMI Report III software is flexible and applicable for every situation. FMI Report III can grow with your company and can be connected to a number of inline moisture meters simultaneous. The simple setup is to connect the FMI to local computer by a serial cable. While a more complex setup is a network connection to a number of inline moisture meters simultaneously with barcode readers and linked to a SQL database.

Server / Client version

Besides the standalone version there is also a server / client of FMI Report III available.
The server/client version is software in two parts. The server part is installed only at one computer in the network. This part is connected to one or more inline moisture meters and is handling the moisture content data, generating reports etc. A services is running “under water”, it means you can’t really see it.
While the other part, the client is the interface. A client can be installed at virtually every computer in the network, unlimited! This means the inline moisture meter can be followed simultaneous on every computer real time.  Also away from the production line in the office.
